DMAi Hall of Fame honours Digital & Direct marketing professionals who have made outstanding career contributions to the practice, growth, and stature of the direct marketing process. It celebrates the spirit of direct & interactive marketing with innovation, collaboration, and creativity.

In line with DMAi's continuous efforts to create recognition for marketers who have made a difference in the way brands communicate with customers and raised the standards and level of professionalism in marketing. The DMAi Hall of Fame will recognize scholars, marketers, creatives and entrepreneurs who have impacted the direct & interactive industry.

DMAi's Hall of Fame is modeled along the lines of DMA Hall of Fame, the most prestigious award bestowed in the direct marketing community. DMAi Hall of Fame will felicitate lifetime achievers in two categories - living & posthumous and as many as four individuals can be inducted every year to serve as an inspiration for future generations and encourage excellence.

Nominee Selection Process

Every year, the DMAi assembles an Executive Committee of scholars, marketers, creatives, and entrepreneurs to select inductees nominated by peers and the public into the DMAi Hall of Fame,The Executive Committee selects up to 4 individuals and nominates them for review by the DMA Board of Directors & Board of Governors. The award may be made at the discretion of the DMA Hall of Fame Executive Committee for accomplishments of significance either past or present.

Up to four awards in either category (living or posthumous) can be awarded annually. However, it is not necessary to present awards every year and the Committee and/or the Board may recommend and vote not to induct anyone in a given year. Inductees are honored at an annual induction ceremony. The 3rd Hall of Fame will be in conjunction with the Annual Convention in Jan 2025 at Delhi.

DMAi, conducts the Hall of Fame recognition progam and the DMAi Awards are the stepping stone to the gateway of international recognition, the oscars for marketing, the very prestigous DMA International ECHO Awards. The DMAi Marketer of the Year award is a new citation being instituted.

Like the Hall of Fame Awards program & the DMA Awards, the Marketer of the Year Award is fashioned closely on the lines of the program at the global DMA. The program however has been re-modeled to serve the needs of the fraternity. It is a joint citation for an individual & the company.

This accolade honors the achievement, innovation, and inspiring leadership of an individual & the company whose work represents the very best in data-driven marketing industry. The individual & company being considered will have exhibited corporate and social responsibility through the innovation and implementation of new products, services, processes and growth within the last 12 months.

Those being considered have had a positive impact on the marketing community and excelled at connecting data and the consumer through data-driven marketing.

Criteria

The DMA Marketer of the Year Award accolade honors achievement, innovation, and inspiring leadership of an individual or company whose work represents the very best in the data-driven marketing industry. The individual or company being considered will have exhibited corporate and social responsibility through innovation and implementation of new products, services, processes and growth within the last 12 months.

Factors considered for individual performance include:

  • Demonstrated leadership through the innovation and implementation of new products or services, processes, or personal growth using data-driven marketing and show results.
  • Utilization of data and technology to showcase their contribution within the marketing community.
  • Have a proven commitment to enhancing the direct marketing community.
  • Ability to influence the direct marketing community and elevate status quo.
  • Has had an impact on the data-driven industry within the last 12 months.
  • Exhibited corporate and social responsibility.

Factors considered for company performance include:

  • Will have shown an impact on multichannel direct marketing using data and results.
  • Represents innovation, marketplace success, and direct response impact within the community.
  • Involve new concepts, methods/models, and use of direct marketing processes.
  • Successfully implement the use of direct marketing for optimal customer communications, response, and retention.
  • Outstanding loyalty marketing and customer service measured by return rate and retention.
  • Results achieved within the last 12 months.
  • Exhibited corporate and social responsibility.

Visa

We believe that convention in itself means the collective effort of national and international people. Because of world events, visa applications are subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past. The greater the scrutiny, the longer the waiting period. So we request our members from the international market will have to approach their respective embassies to get their visas sanctioned at the earliest.

Visa requirements vary from country to country. Contact the Indian embassy or consulate in the country where you live to determine if you will need a visa and/or a visa support letter to visit India. The decision to grant visas belongs solely to the embassy/consulate. DMAi cannot promise that you or your colleagues will receive a visa. Likewise, DMAi cannot change the decision of the governmental agency should your application be denied.

Begin your visa application process well in advance of your travel dates. Visa applications face more scrutiny and a longer waiting period than they have in the past.
